Vertical File Search

Vertical Files hold a wide variety of information types related to the topic of the files: news clippings, small booklets, some manuscripts material, post cards, legal or governmental forms, etc. They vary widely. Some have only one small newspaper clipping; others contain a mixture of many types of information. In all cases, the contents do no constitute enough information to warrant a boxed collection, but they contain too much to throw away.
